REDANG ISLAND

Redang Island, situated 45km off the coast of Kuala Terengganu, is the largest of all Terengganu's islands. From the very first look, Redang Island will charm visitors with its compelling beauty. This archipelago is abounds with marvelous marine fishes, turtles and coral reefs, ensuring a great snorkeling and scuba-diving experience. Redang Island which is approximately 7km in length 6km in width, is the largest of all other islands in the Marine Park.

The varieties of hard and soft corals and pro life marine life here make it a perfect destination for divers. Activities prohibited and not allowed are:
  • Collecting and taking of aquatic life ( corals, shell or fishes whether living or alive ).
  • Fishing without a license & Causing Pollution (3.2 km radius), i.e. littering Possession of spear fishing equipment.
