Even though Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia, it does not lose out to other states in terms of tourism attractiveness. Perlis is a pleasant and excellent destination for tourists who want to experience the slower-paced, laid-back rural lifestyle. 

Perlis is home to the Gua Kelam Recreation Park, one of the most interesting recreation parks in Malaysia. Situated about one kilometer from the peaceful town of Kaki Bukit, Northwest of Perlis, Gua Kelam.

Inside this cave is a 370 metre long cave passage. A wooden walkway suspended along the entire length of the well-lit passage allows visitors to view the magnificently formed stalactites and stalagmites. Near the entrance of the cave is a recreational park which has a tourist information centre, food stalls and water sports facilities.
